Concurrent Investment Advisors, LLC (“Concurrent”), a leading independent registered investment adviser (RIA) platform, announced the addition of Winstone Wealth Partners (Winstone), bringing over $425 million in assets under management (AUM). The partnership builds on the platform’s momentum through the first two quarters of the year and increases Concurrent’s total assets under management to more than $23 billion.
Winstone’s CEO and Founder, Jeff Green, joined Concurrent from Raymond James Financial Services alongside Partner Lauren Smith and advisors, John Grover, Robert Burks, and Dylan Daggett. The team is focused on growing organically and leveraging Concurrent’s resources and expertise to pursue inorganic growth opportunities. As part of this partnership, Winstone enhances the client experience through Concurrent’s technology and operational support and elevates the planning and investment offerings available to its high-net-worth clients in the Houston area.
“Our goal is to provide an experience our clients feel confident about. With Concurrent, we have the technology, integrated planning tools, and operational efficiency necessary to continue putting our clients first,” said Jeff Green. “From day one, it was evident that Concurrent would empower us to build the independent firm we envision for our team and for the families we serve.”
The addition followed a first half of growth, in which Concurrent reached $21 billion in total AUM and welcomed 25 advisors to the platform. During that period, Concurrent expanded its home office, with investment across onboarding, operations, compliance, investment solutions, practice synergies, centralized services, technology and advisor support.
“Welcoming this firm is a continued reflection of our team’s commitment to building a platform where advisor entrepreneurs can scale on their own terms and keep their client relationships at the center of the business,” said Nate Lenz, CEO of Concurrent. “Our role is to bring capabilities and strategic support to the table that strengthen firms like Winstone, without diminishing what makes them distinct.”
By combining operational support, practice management resources, growth capital solutions, investment access, centralized planning capabilities and a collaborative peer network, Concurrent provides a foundation for advisors to build durable, client-centered enterprises. Its flexible model supports firms at different stages of growth while preserving the identity and entrepreneurial approach that distinguish their businesses.
“The investments we are making in advisor support and the platform overall, continue to stand out to advisors and teams seeking independence,” said Joe Mooney, Managing Director and Head of Business Development at Concurrent. “We work to understand what matters most to the advisors and the businesses they have built, which in-turn means providing support that is practical, responsive and aligned with each team’s goals, from onboarding through the next stage of growth.”
