Miami Beach’s fall calendar offers a different take on the traditional autumn getaway
MIAMI BEACH, FL, UNITED STATES, October 5, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Fall looks a little different in Miami Beach. Oceanfront dinners take the place of fireside dining, internationally acclaimed chefs offer an alternative to traditional fall flavors, and the city’s signature Art Deco architecture comes framed by palm trees rather than changing leaves.
This season, several developments are adding to the city’s fall calendar, including the first-ever extension of Miami Spice through October 31, the return of the South Beach Seafood Festival October 21–24, new cultural programming and seasonal offers from Miami Beach hotels.
“Fall in Miami Beach has its own rhythm, with sunny days, outdoor dining and time to explore the city’s art, architecture and culinary scene,” said Mohan Koka, Chairman of the Miami Beach Visitor and Convention Authority. “Before the holiday season begins, visitors have an opportunity to experience a different side of Miami Beach and discover more of the neighborhoods, restaurants and cultural institutions that define the destination.”
AN EXTRA MONTH OF MIAMI SPICE
For the first time in its 25-year history, Miami Spice has been extended through October 31, 2026, adding another month to one of South Florida’s longest-running culinary programs.
The milestone year includes a record 400+ participating restaurants across Greater Miami and Miami Beach, with specially priced menus providing an introduction to established restaurants as well as newer additions to the region’s dining scene.
Later in the month, Miami Beach’s culinary community takes center stage with the 14th Annual South Beach Seafood Festival, October 21–24, 2026. Coinciding with the start of Florida’s stone crab season, the four-day event brings together South Florida chefs and restaurants for dinners, chef competitions and beachfront events.
FALL HOTEL STAYS
Several Miami Beach hotels are also introducing seasonal packages tied to fall travel.
Following a transformation of the oceanfront property, Royal Palm South Beach Miami, a Tribute Portfolio Resort, is offering its Fall by the Sea package, which includes welcome cocktails, daily breakfast for two and a reduced $35 nightly resort fee.
At Andaz Miami Beach Resort & Spa, the Taste Journey experience combines a two-night-or-longer stay with a $200 dining credit that can be used at Aguasal, the resort’s restaurant from José Andrés Group.
The offers come as Miami Beach’s hotel landscape continues to evolve, giving returning visitors an opportunity to experience recently refreshed and newly introduced properties along the beachfront.
ART, ARCHITECTURE AND CULTURE BEYOND THE BEACH
Fall also provides an opportunity to explore Miami Beach beyond its shoreline.
Visitors can walk through the Art Deco Historic District and Ocean Drive, see current exhibitions at The Bass, attend performances at the New World Center, or explore the restaurants, shops, public art and programming along Lincoln Road.
The city’s architecture and public art can also be explored independently through the EXP Miami Beach Tours App, which offers curated self-guided experiences highlighting notable buildings, public artworks and cultural landmarks throughout Miami Beach.
“Between the extended culinary calendar, cultural programming and seasonal hotel offerings, fall gives travelers a chance to experience Miami Beach at a different pace,” said Grisette Roque Marcos, Executive Director of the Miami Beach Visitor and Convention Authority. “It’s also an opportunity to explore more of the destination—from its restaurants and architecture to its arts institutions and neighborhoods.”
Additional information on fall events, hotel offers and curated itineraries is available at ExperienceMiamiBeach.com. Travelers can also use the EXP Miami Beach Tours App, available through the App Store and Google Play, for self-guided exploration throughout the destination.
